Issues drafting on BricsCad Pro v12

Hi so I just started working on Bricscad and I am not sure why but every time I try to draw something my line is not visible after i select my first point. it becomes partially visible when i move my mouse but is not where its supposed to be. After i select the second point the line ends up being drawn properly and is visible. the same thing happens when i try drawing anything else such as a rectangle. I have attached a doc showing what drawing a rectangle looks like before and after i select my second point. I have already tried reinstalling the program twice.
