Purge command does not change the size of the files. Occasionally the size of the file are growing

purge "all" "x" "yes to all" "y"

For blocks within blocks you could possibly need to do 2-consecutive purges.

Depends how much unreferenced "stuff" your dwg contains.

Just Purged a cluttered dwg now. Was 17Mb, now 9Mb.

Per Bruce's suggestion, I find it always prudent to do 2 consecutive purges.
