Copy holes (faces)

I am trying to copy holes along a beam. I have extruded a circle to make the hole and I have attempted to copy the face of the hole to a new location. The face of the hole does copy but it doesn't produce a hole in the new location.
Am I missing something with this command?

    The answer was I was using the wrong command.
    The correct command is dmCopyFaces and not the copy faces from the solidedit command as I was trying to do.
