Background drawing

How can I use a drawing as a background in order to use it's lines and endpoints as reference points for another drawing? (This would be similar to Xref only in this case I need the ability to grad/snap to the background lines/points..)Thanks,Sasha

    Attach the drawing as an Xref (use the _Xrm command). Using the normal entities snaps you can snap to the entities in the Xreffed drawing.
