GUI Problems

Hi,
I like BricsCAD, especially because of the perpetual license and its fair pricing. But I have two issues with it that I am unable to solve. First, my setup: I am BricsCAD V23 it on a Windows 10 laptop with built-in 2560x1440 monitor and an additional 1920x1080 monitor as an external display. Also, I have a 3DConnexion mouse connected to the system.
Issue 1:
No matter what compatibility and high DPI settings I use in launching BricsCAD, I have non-optimal GUI on one of the monitors, i.e., either GUI is blurry on one monitor, or GUI elements are extremely large, or toolbars not showing properly, like image below, in which toolbars are very glitchy and unusable:
To emphasise, I have tried EVERY possible setting in Windows, to no avail (below is just one example). NEVER I get crisp and properly sized/shown GUI elements on both monitors.
I guess this is probably Windows related, as I've seen some other software suffer from it too, but I have witnessed some companies have fixed this in their software. I was hoping V25 would address this problem but alas it is not any better if not even worse.
Issue 2:
I constantly see ghosting of snap and angle icons when drawing lines. Below is a screen capture with arrows I put to point out what do I mean by ghost icons:
Same as previous, I was hoping V25 will not have this glitch but I am disappointed and see no reason for an upgrade…

Does your laptop have a dedicated graphics GPU or only an onboard GPU integrated with your CPU?
If you do have a dedicated graphics card you may want to check if the laptop is set to using it and not the integrated GPU chip. Are the latest graphics drivers installed?
If you have a dedicated GPU, what model is it and how much VRAM? It could be that it is a bit underpowered.
If an integrated GPU is being used, check if you can adjust the allocated VRAM to a higher value so that more ram is available for the graphics display.
Did you also check the display properties for each monitor, normally it is possible to set a different resolution and scaling for each monitor. Try adjusting the resolution for both monitors to their native resolution with scaling set to 100%. This usually solves the blurry issues.
Though it is possible it is a V23 issue in combination with your laptop.

My laptop has a dedicated GPU (RTX 3060, 6 GB), with (always) up-to-date drivers. I can also confirm that GPU is being used by BricsCAD. Monitors are set to their native resolutions and recommended scaling; for the built-in display with 2560x1440 resolution scaling is set to 150% which is proper, otherwise (i.e. in case of setting to 100%) all the Windows elements and texts will be very small. I have already tested it, and yes, it does solve blurriness of BricsCAD, but then again everything is too small to be usable. That's why Windows itself recommends 150% scaling for my built-in display.
My issue 1 is NOT a performance or setting problem, but that of BricsCAD not being properly coded to handle different scaling settings after launch. I know other software that have (or in the past had) this issue. For example I remember Autodesk Fusion had the same problem on my setup, but after a certain update it was fixed (per-monitor DPI awareness). On the other hand I have software (including BricsCAD) that still suffer from this. I had hoped V25 would finally address this problem but I tested the trial version and it is still the same.

Sounds like you are right about this being a BricsCAD issue, in that case I would file a bug support request for this.
