Small crosshairs - how to remove

in 2D Drafting
Trying to copy with base point, these crosshairs seem to come up everywhere, sometimes 3 or 4 at a time in a small area.
How can they be removed.

How can they be removed.
In context, I'm trying to change settings to achieve a similar feel to AutoCAD out of the box, in terms of workflow or feel with the mouse. Finding it really challenging with BricsCAD, there are so many settings (not against this) and changing one affects another.

That looks like a BLIP, not a crosshair. Running the REDRAW command will remove them. BLIPMODE is supposed to be able to turn the generation of BLIPS on and off, but reality for many years has been that blips sometimes appear even when BLIPMODE is set to off.

Thanks Martin, but it doesn't really work, BLIPMODE was also off

As I said, blips sometimes show up even if BLIPMODE is off. No idea why. No idea why.

Could be Snap tracking. You can toggle this On/Off by pressing F11 or clicking on the option on the Status bar.
