How can I change the text height in the Settings dialog box?

    Do you mean the default text height for new text and mtext entities? I don't know of any variable for that, nor any setting in the Settings dialog box.

    On my system, the Text and Mtext commands use the text style selected as Current in the Text Styles tab of the Drawing Explorer. And the default height for new texts and mtexts is whatever's given in the Height column for that style.

    If the specified height for that style is 0, they seem to use 0.2 as the default height. That happens to be the value of the StampFontSize variable, but I think that's just a coincidence. If I change that variable, the default height is still 0.2. There may be a variable that I don't know about that specifies the default height for styles without a defined height. Or one that determines whether to use the StampFontSize variable for styles that don't have a defined height.
