Replace window

I've placed a single-pane window in the building I'm modeling, but now, for design reasons, I need to replace it with a three-pane window. Is there a way to do this? Or do I just have to delete the incorrect window and place the new one, adjusting its dimensions and position all over again?

    Insert the new Window Type somewhere in a Wall

    (To have that Block saved in your drawing)

    Select your old Window

    _blockreplace

    Select the new Window Type in your Block List

    Finally again a _BIMWINDOWUPDATE to update the Wall Opening

    Thank you so much, I wasn't familiar with that command. I tried it, but I noticed it replaces all the blocks of that window. Is there a way to replace only the one I want, leaving the rest of the windows as they are?

    Oh, I tested having a single Block Instance only - good to know. Wouldn't have expected replacing all instances.


    Doesn't make much sense to me. Usually I would select all Block instances I want to replace in that case.

    Unfrortunately I do not find any Options or Settings for BLOCKREPLACE.
