Slabs and levels

I modeled a slab and assigned it to a story I created. I'd like to move it to a higher level, but when I assign it, it doesn't move up. Do I have to do it manually with push/pull? Is there another way?

    Yes, there is no Story/Level binding.

    Assigning a BIM Story is only for hierarchy.

    But generally in Bricscad, to draw at a special Z level - when nothing selected, you can set "Elevation" in Properties Panel/General to a Z value of choice.
