Vertical toolbars showing as blank bars after update

For Brics mech. latest update 26.2.03. Never had this happen before but now certain toolbars are showing as blank bars when positioned vertically. Not all are doing this but the ones that are show up fine when positioned horizontally. It's almost as if there is a width constraint placed on them somehow I don't know. Has anyone noticed this also? See attached pics, I sent in a support request so hopefully they'll have a solution.
