and without needing to learn a program in debt.
Avoiding debt is one of the main reasons to use the lower-cost Bricssys software.
... Sorry, I couldn't resist. :')
If you look at Shape(free) as being a replacement of Revit (±3.000/year) or even ArCADia (±500 Euro /year) then no wonder you're disappointed.
However, I'm not sure why you would think Shape is anything other then a rough modeler.
@Roy Klein Gebbinck
Roy, unfortunately your solution just make my Bricscad 'hang' which means I have to give it a hard shutdown.
Jason, yours works nicely
My thanks to both of you nonetheless.
I opened the Content Browser, and exported all of the sysvars.
Then I closed the Content Browser and exported all of the sysvars.
Then I compared to the two lists of sysvars and there is no difference, so apparently ther…
Oh I see.
There's of course a big difference if something is meant for use in company or for customers where indeed you have far less control what they have running, what additional add-ons they have or even which version of Bricscad they have. Th…
Perhaps I don't understand the question but....
Why not just drag&drop it in the sequence you want while using the customize interface ?
Open Customize, open workspaces, select the workspace in question, open up the menus and just drag and dro…
We only using Bricscad for 2d DWG's. In V18 I hardly had an issue but in V19 I, as well as my colleagues, notice random crashing. Nothing any of us can put a finger on concerning the cause because it happens in all kinds of circumstances. I say cras…
An easier solution, if it's about changing background colours to another autocad color,
make a new button on a toolbar and in the command line box put in
The above will toggle you…
1 workaround is using the LISP routine X2O that is available on the internet.
See for instance : https://lispbox.wordpress.com/2014/11/25/change-all-xrefs-status-from-overlay-to-attach-x2a-visa-versa-x2o/

The only difference I see is that indeed the values get shown at the lower right of the cursor and not just at the entity itself.
Is there a significance to it if it gets duplicated at the c…
Not much info to deduce anything
Did you try a repair install?
Are you sure that you have the correct profile/workspace active?
Did you import a profile and if so, did you change anything of the default settings? If yes, then did you co…
Thank you for the explanation. I had tried it earlier but didn't get anything of it to work but this time around I got the toolbars up and running.
Most of them work with exception of Layerwalk, yep the one I really want. That one …
I downloaded Expresstools_BricscadV18 and when opening the zip I see this
As you can see, there's no .lsp file in sight but instead it's mainly .dll - .des - .brx type of files. There for I would love to hear how I would be abl…
BTW, I tried and as indicated in the requirements, Express tools does indeed NOT work on Classic because it doesn't allow for .des files or .BRX type of files.
Are you sure you have Classic and not Pro or even Platinum ?

I think it should work, possibly depending on which version of Classic you have. I have v17 Classic, and Express Tool…
Is the one from Sofoco tools fail in the same manner as the one from Expresstools?
I can't use Expresstools (only have Bricscad Classic) so I can't compare them myself.

In general when something like that happens it helps if you do an "audit" on the offending file itself. In other words, open the external referenced file by itself and perform an audit on it to see if it finds and repairs any errors in it's d…

the additional ";" doesn't seem to be doing anything in this case.
Besides, even pressing "enter" when the command doesn't finish doesn't do a thing either.
The only way I found is by physically pressing the ESC button.
