SOLVED: NVIDIA QUADRO K600
Have to install Nvida restricted graphics (nvidia-310) and Bricscad works fast.
With Nouveau drives works fine, but slower.
I can draw with both drivers, but restricted is faster.

When run Bricscad from Terminal, have only this message:
(bricscad:2244): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_drawable_get_depth: assertion `GDK_IS_DRAWABLE (drawable)' failed
John, you are right, may be an update of the kernel, nvidia driver or bricscad. I hope to find a solution, because this pauses make Bricscad unusuable for me.

I always use Layouts to print, but only sometimes need to print an specific area of a Sheet, and in this case, Bricscad print entities that are outside of the selected area, and this should not occur.
May be S Schuller have reason, if excludes updates (bug fixes) anybody want to buy the Classic version, but I think that Bricsys will clarify this.
I tested other software very promissing, but find Bricscad faster.

Bricscad print items outside the selected area, and this is wrong.
Change the print setting (under Sistem --> Printers, I setup the paper size to A2), but don't work.
@ Cielito Lindo, tabs with filenames can be placed near the Model & layouts tabs, or at the bottom near snap, grid, ortho, polar, etc..
Install ok on ubuntu 10.40, no errors.
Can't print A2 format sheet, only A3 size.
