I think you will find hatch starts to fail when you start selecting a serious number of items. If you look at the sample images for Superboundary you will see what the programs are aimed at.1 -

have you looked at Hatch origin point, Ar-conc is one we used all the time and it suffers from X & Y being big co-ordinates, resetting the origin fixes it.1
