import pcp settings to ctb
how do I import pcp settings to ctb?
the help page for the plotter configuration editor shows that there should be an "import" button next to "defaults" and "save as..."
There isn't.
Is this a feature that isn't implemented yet? or abandonded?
If so, is there a utility somewhere that allows me to convert a pcp file to ctb?
We really need this.

This is indeed no longer provided (abandoned).
Please note that .pcp files are text files. It is fairly straightforward to see the mapping between the 255 pens and their 255 colors. Perhaps creating a default CTB from scratch and tweaking the (hopefully few) values that differ.
You can also enter a support request and add the .pcp file that needs to be converted. We will gladly translate it to a .ctb file for you0 -
We are presently using Autocad R14, which has been perfectly adequate for years. ( We refused to get on the Autodesk treadmill)
So everybody saves their pen configs as pc2 or pcp files.
Unfortunately, they aren't precisely standardized, there are many tweaks and individual idiosyncrosies.
Not good, I know.
There is a ctb to pcp utility (by Autodesk) and I've been trying to find a utility or something to do the reverse.
Which would be extremely convenient.
Yes, I know we can do it manually (which I've been doing), and if the ctb was in an ascii format, I could have cobbled something up.
I don't want to ask you to waste your time doing what we could do.
(We still have version 8, can we continue to use that to convert, after we upgrade the licenses?)
