number of last opened files

Good afternoon,

Is ther a way to increase the number of last opened files in 'FILE'?

Currently it is set to 4, I would like it to be at least 9 (as in WORD/EXCEL/ACAD).

I cannot find the settings in 'Settings'.

    I have 
    (SETVAR "NFILELIST" 10)
    in my on_doc_load.lsp.

    I think that does it. At least I get 10. Don't know what the limit is.

    The number of files shown in the Most Recently Used file lst can be set from the Settings dialog. Keying in 'file list' in the search field will take you to this setting.

    This is a wish-list item -

    It would be great if the limit of 10 recent files could be increased (at least about 20). Or a separate dialog, "Recent Files History", could be added to the File pull-down menu.

    One can indeed customize the main menus so that one adds a new main menu (fi: Recent Files) and append the item [recent files] to it to have a listing right at hand. I support having more than 10 files available.
