New Version

Sander,It's July 30,2001. THe other guys have posted an updated version of ICAD. Looking at the change log it appears that there have been many, mnay, mnay fixes since bricsnet's .0025 version. Whenn can we expect an update? What will be fixed? What functions will be added? See my previous post on enhancements.Paul Sullivan

  • Paul, there are two things planned:- first this month an update of 2.2.0025 to include some important fixes. Fixes for crashes, for the pop0 problem, the problem of missing diameter symbols, xrm renaming limitations , problems with polylines and with dimensions. No new features, just making the existing release more stable.- then in september a new release with full acis , groups, hyperlinks, performance improvements, and many bugfixes.regards, sander

  • So when can we expect to see the EXTEND command fixed?

  • SanderMy understanding is that the code base for Icad will become auniform set kept at ITC for everyone to use as a startingpoint for add-on products. If this is correct, will the fullACIS support be featured in Bricsnet's version only, as anadd-on feature to that code base? Thanks,Risto

Acis creation and editing is almost ready and can then also be released by all. Because the licensing of Acis editing libraries is more expensive, the code is such that members can choose to release a cheaper version with the editing switched off.sander
