version 3.1.005 and winXP home edition

Sander,Are there any known problems with WinXP home edition and version 3.1.005 on Compaq Presarios. I can not seem to run in anything but demo mode. I left a tech support request 3 or 4 days ago and one this evening with no reply. I do not have a support contract. Please let me know if I have to have this contract to obtain assistance. The Compaq is brand new and I tried to both the 2.0.0022 and 3.1.005 with old and new license and registration keys with no success. 1.6ghz is certainly better to work on than my old 90mhz 1994 vintage pentium.

  • There are no known major problems running IntelliCAD on XP. Demo mode has nothing to do with the platform, it only indicates that you are using a trial license, that expires in 30 days. If your license agreement entitles you to have a permanent license, please contact backoffice@bricsnet.com.

  • With your license codes, you should be ok. With XP home edition and running with Eagle Point Civil Software, I often get a windows error on closing. It doesn't seem to affect the save or any performance though. I have sent the report to MS and emails to Bricsnet and Eagle Point.
