No tracking lines moving faces using SOLIDEDIT command

Cannot edit solids with the standard SOLIDEDIT command, because it doesn't show any tracking lines to indicate where you are moving the faces.

SOLIDEDIT -> F (Face)->M(Move) then select face, ENTER, Right click to start the path, NO PATH is displayed to indicate the direction of the movement.

How do I get these to show up??

In my testing, the tracking lines were displayed.
This assumes that POLAR and STRACK are enabled.

First, you could check whether these options are enabled.
There are some toggle buttons displayed in the status bar.

If they are enabled but the results are not satisfactory, you could experiment with other settings related to tracking - see the article linked below.

You could test whether various values of POLARMODE, AUTOSNAP, or TRACKPATH are more suitable.
