TINVOLUME with multiple Comparison Surfaces issue.
Very new to the civils end in BricsCAD and learning as I go.
We have a building site considting of 120 houses and I have been asked to calulate the Cut/Fill quanties that will be removed from the site.
I have generated a surface of the existing green field and also created surfaces for each individual dwelling as they are all at different elevations.
When I run TINVOLUME, I select my Existing Ground surface as my base, but I can only select one surface of the dwellings as a comparison. I've tried 'add to set (+), 'window Polygon', 'Crossing window' and any other of the options in the selections options that I think would work and everything just seems to create a volume surface of the first surface I selected.
I also tried going via the TINMERGE route but this then changes the level of the surfaces of each individual dwelling as it was connection them up..
If anyone can advise me what I'm doiung wrong it would be appreciated.

I can not tell you what you are doing wrong but have some experience with house pads. If you look at Civil Site Design a Add on for Bricscad, it has a feature driven grading tool, can do stuff like say a square pad with 4 different grades from the edges. A lot of control over a grading object. Have a look if your doing pads all the time will pay for itself very quickly. Will see if can find a youtube re grading.
