Zoom Extent Bug

Version 4.1.00.17 (the newest) needs repair again, and fast. There is a bug in the Extmin variable. It keeps the 0,0 coordinate, rather then the lower point of the drawing. It means, that it is impossible to Zoom extent.

  • Can you send a drawing and a procedure to us, so that we can reproduce it? regards,Alexander Van Heuverzwyn, BricsCad

  • We reproduced a problem where extents refuse to shrink after freezing layers. We're working on it.thanks, sander

  • Version 4.1.0019 has been made available and contains the correction of this problem. Thanks for reporting it fast.

  • A small problem but with multiple files open (4.1.0017), switching between files generates new zooms @ about half the magnification each time. Maybe this is part of the zoom extents problem said to have been fixed in 4.1.0019 - is this downloadable version considered a patch for an existing license owner?

  • we don't know about this problem, and we can't reproduce it. Not in recent code and not in version 4-1-0017.What is the exact scenario? Are the drawings maximized or not? How do you switch between drawings? by just switching focus? do you close drawings? Please clarify.Alexander Van Heuverzwyn, bricscad

  • Open one drawing then open another. Go back to the first drawing using Window Menu, it has zoomed out. Open another and #2 will be zoomed out when revisited, etc.

  • I can reproduce this problem sometimes when switching between paperspace drawings.

  • Just to add, it happens with every drawing I have tried, paper space or model space. Again this is a rather minor annoyance with a program which I think is generally excellent (and I have tried a few).
