Xref's in paper space

I typically xref my drawings into model space and do my sheet in paperspace for printing. The drawings then show in viewports. I have recently migrated to a new network with three workstations. Every time the sheet file is opened on a computer it looses the path of the xref. I have to go in and re-enter the path. It sticks on the last computer that was used to view the sheet file. Is there any setting to not have to do this everytime?Thanks much,Paul

    When the external reference attachment or management window is open, directly below where you select the file is the path. On the right hand side of the path listing is a check box that says "retain path". Be sure this is checked.That should correct your problem.HTHAudie
