Anybody familiar with the FROM option in object snapping in BricsCad? Does it exist or is there an equivalent available?TIA,Arno van Eeuwen

    The FROM option is available through a lisp command.The FROM lisp is loaded automatically when Bricscad starts up. To use the function type (from) at the command prompt or define a shortcut key to launch the command.

    Hi - I miss this snap mode from AutoCAD and would love to have it in Bricscad. Louis' reply says that typing "from" at the command line would load/activate the snap mode. That didn't work for me. Could you steer me toward the directory where bricscad stores the lisp file? I think I probably need to load it manually and can't find it. - Thanks

    Never mind. Figured out that the parentheses around "from" were necessary. Thank you. To Bricscad development folk: do you think we can have this as a real snap mode?

    I just created a toolbar button for this function and added it to my esnap toolbar - easy!
