Mouse speed changes
I am using v8. When ever I open BriscCAD, my mouse pointer requires more movement of my hand. It as though the mouse speed in the mouse control panel were changed. The mouse behavior returns to normal when I exit BricsCAD. I didn't even know that a program could affect the mouse this way.Is there a mouse speed setting in BricsCad that I am un aware of?Joe Dunfee

I just tested this in v7 as well. The "slow mouse" issue is there as well. I normally use AutoCAD LT (unless I need something that BricsCad can do).I am hoping to fully switch to BricsCad once version 8 gets more stable, but this mouse issue is a significant problem.Joe Dunfee

If it's a Logitech (or maybe some others), there is an option to disable acceleration in games - I think it defaults to this setting and thinks Icad is a game (hah!) while it acts normally in other situations. The standard windows driver does not have this option.

It seems like the mouse get tracking on.If you move the mouse quickly it leaves tiny traces.Very frustrating as it feels jumpy. Feels almost like you have a tiny snapgrid on.Apart from this I have to say WOW. (god or bad ?)Feel like Im gona need som time to learn to set everything up again.Patrik

Yes, it was the Logitec "Disable Acceleration on Games" setting in the windows Mouse control panel.I don't play games, so it is not an issue for me, and I can leave this mouse setting unchecked.And always, I thank you guys at Bricsys for providing such immediate and open support.Joe Dunfee
