    Thank you for the reply. I was just curious because the purchase of the Bricscad V8 "All-in" includes an upgrade to V9, and thought that there might have been a planned release date.Thank you for your help.

    V8 would have taken a big effort to re-write and there are a few promised features to add. There are also a few bits need rectifying though it generally works very well for me. I would think it a while before this model is "abandoned" for a superseding one. I guess that means you are covered for upgrades for some time to come.
