Crash report files...
Hello,I wonder if someone from Bricsys could comment on the crash report files. Is it beneficial to Bricsys for us to send them in as a support request if there is no repeatable, documented procedure to trigger a crash or does this just create noise for the support personnel? What can we do to assist you in identifying flaws that do not have easily identified simplistic procedures to cause a repeatable faults? Are there additional levels of logging possible?Should I wait until I have a documented and repeatable procedure before reporting a crash? Thanks.

When we succeed in reproducing the problem a crash report is not needed. It's when crashes are erratic or difficult to reproduce that they become valuable. Usually the crash report is small and attaching it to a supportrequest is little effort.

Ok, great. I will send them in. That was my original thinking and I have been sending them in when I find them. I was uncertain if this was helpful or not in the cases I was unable to provide files and scenarios that reproduced the crash. See SR 18420 for one recently sent in.Thanks for the clarification.
