Solid Modeling behavior and other annoyances.
I have a few things that I have been working around and hoping someone can clue me in on how bricscad treats these items.
- When I'm using the "SOLIDEDIT" command, and moving or coping faces. I loose the USC or the ability to use my ortho to pull the direction and enter in a distance. Autocad does this and I use it all the time. Anyone else have this issues or know of a solution? using Microvellum BSB, that is on Bricscad V25.2.008.
- When drawing a line over top of another line or solid, when I select the line it always picks the bottom line, not the newest line. so if I'm using a line to reference or for a new element it picks the one below, it's a bit frustrating. I have even tried draworder but doesn't seem to help. Any ideas?

Draworder, or the concept of which of two lines (or anything) at same Z, is on top of another, only works in visualstyle Wireframe i.e. doesn't work in any modelling style.

I just find it strange that it always selects the bottom line, and with 25 years of autocad, it's never the bottom line that I'm trying to select. 🤣

any idea why the ortho doesn't work when in the solidedit command? usually, I can pick a reference point and pull it the direction I want to go and type a distance. i'll let me select a point, but no ortho tracking and the cursor guide lines just disappear. Specifically in Solidedit, Face, Move. (it works Solidedit, Face, Copy).

'the bottom line' - you mean the earliest placed line?
