Understanding User Profile Manager

Hello, Here is a beginner's question about using the Tools/ User Profile Manager. I have not been able to understand this yet. If I set up the desktop and Settings as I want them, then choose "Create" in the Profile Mgr,. I can name it but the newly created name does not open the desktop I thought I saved when I re-open BC and choose it. How is this Profile Mgr. actually used? Thanks very much.LB

    I may remember this wrong but I think the Create button creates a new profile from the system default settings.My understanding is the changes you make to the profile are being made to the current profile (as you make them).Summary:- Create your new user profile- Set Current if you want it to be the default profile - Start the user profile (this will open a new instance of Bricscad)- Setup the profile the way you want in the new instance- Restart Briscad should now reflect your changed profile.Hope that gets you started.
