Trimming closed polylines
HiI tried to trim a closed polyline "with itself".In AutoCad it is possible to trim as follows. In the trimcommand do not choose any, just press enter "select all".a closed rectangular can be trimmed so it consist of only 3 lines. Meaning you do not need an edge, the trim command can split the individual polyline-entity by its segments. If have not been able to do this in BricsCad.Any sugestions, else than drawing extra edges to solve this problem?Best regards,Mads

Bricscad V9.3 will contain a completely rewritten trim command, and guess what, it will support exactly what you describe... V9.3 release is scheduled for next month.Best regards

Hello Hans,
Will the new trim also work with Hatches?

One has to learn to walk before one learns to run:
first we want to fully master the art of hatch boundary detection, and of trim operations.
Best regards.
