Snap points

I've noticed that the snaps seem a bit erratic at least on my system. A lot times when picking a snap point the "point indicator" (yellow square or whatever) isn't showing up. Now when
zooming in close it appears to be less of a problem, so I don't if it's an system issue or software. Anyone else notice this? This is for the latest version.
