Bricscad to Excel export
I've been all over the net looking for an application that will export a DWG file to Excel as an image and came up empty so far. There are numerous apps that do the reverse though.
My work around so far is to export the file (with a white background) as a bmp and then touch up with Microsoft Paint. Maybe someone has an easier way?

The quickest way to get an image of the current dwg into excel without additional software is just to hit the "print screen' button at the top of your keyboard then in excel hit the paste button - voila! To trim the edges that you dont want, open the picture toolbar if it isnt open already and select the crop tool. Alternately paste it into an image editing program to clean up the stuff you dont want or download a screen capture tool that lets you pick the portion of the screen you are interested in directly. There are also virtual printers that you can install which print to an image file instead of to a printer. You should be able to find free versions of all of these with a quick google search. Hope something there helps. I have used all options before but it just depends on your needs!

I regularly use PDFCreator, PrimoPDF, PDF995. All free and all good, but I tend to use PDFCreator most.
