ADMIN: upload to forum or website?

Dear Admin,

I think it would be a great help for use4rs, if we had a special forum thread or a directory, where users could upload LISP (and other) files and share them with each other. I have just programmed a clone of Autodesk's geomcal application that I wanted to share.

Good idea?

Regards, Tom

  • Tom, I don't know what geomcal is, but that's very generous of you. I'm glad to see that spirit of sharing. I've gotten some great programs from this forum, such as Daniel Marcotte's document tabs and Yaacov Lazar's block editing commands.

The forum keeps improving, so maybe it'll have that capability eventually, but for now, do you know about code tags? You can click the "Insert code" button, and then paste your lisp code where it says "PASTE CODE HERE." Or if you want to share an encrypted file and not the code itself, maybe you could upload it to a site like mediafire.com and then post a link to the file here. Just highlight some text and click the "Insert/edit link" icon and paste in the address.
