Flatten command in Ver 10.1.9

The purpose of the command is what the name implies, bringing the selected entities to the same datum base. In ver 7, you were given the option to choose a datum other then Zero (0). Why have you dropped this option ?. In ver 10.1.9 it moves the selected entities to ground zero, without giving you any other option.

    It now explodes your blocks too, unless they have attributes.

    There is a recent thread on it in this forum.

    Sorry. Haven't noticed that there is a thread about 'Flatten'

    I've read the thread, but the subject that I've raised dosen't appear there. Can't you restore the old command ?

    We're working to improve the new implementation of FLATTEN. We will not restore the old implementation.
