Print with window causing strange things to happen
One of my coworkers has been seeing this and frankly, it has me baffled. When he is in modelspace, and prints a portion of the drawing with a print window, the entities in the drawing all turn white. If you then select the entity it will still show the proper color, and the properties of the entity are still correct. Also when printed the proper lineweights are printed. It only seems to be the "representation" of the entity in modelspace. I have tried to regen, as well as close without save, and restarting BricsCAD, nothing seems to change this. With a very detailed drawing, having all of your lines white makes it very difficult to work with. We are using V9.2.15, and any ideas, or fixes would be much appreciated.

Could you please file a support request and attach the drawing as well as any print config files used?

It is done Hans.
Thank you

It's not just a case of unchecking "View with plot styles" in the plot dialog is it?

I have tried that, and no that doesn't change anything. I have also been through the settings dialog under several search variables, but nothing turned up a setting to change what had happened. I have also asked the coworker if this was an isolated incident, and he said no whenever he prints using a window in the model space, he gets the same result, the entities turn white.

The problem is caused by the 'previous plot' option on the Page Setup and Print dialogs. If the previous plot was from a layout, the plot style is monochrome and this layout has the 'display plot styles' option on, plot styles are applied to model space as well. The 'display plot styles' option is disabled when the Page Setup or Print dialogs are opened when in model space. The only way to correct the setting is to open a layout, switch off the 'display plot styles' option, then go to model space and choose the 'previous plot option' and hit the 'Apply' (Pring dialog) or 'OK' (Page Setup dialog) button. The display will be correct again. Don't forget to set the 'Use settings from' option to 'layout'.
