How to set default file type when opening a drawing?

Anyone who knows how to set default file type when using the toolbar Open File dialog?

Now it shows .DWT and I want to change that to .DWG, but I cannot find where jo set that.

    Forgot to tell that it is with Bricacad V6......

    I'm having this exact issue, so I contacted Bricscad support & below is their responce...

    Dear sir,
    Unfortunately, we can not help you with this issue. The problem started since Windows Vista appeared and has been fixed in the later Bricscad versions. At present we only make fixes for V6/V7/8 for critical problems. We recommend you to upgrade to Bricscad V10 which was 100% rewritten since V7 and solves MANY other problems as well.

    I take it that our mutual issue is not deemed "critical" enough for any official fix (apart from buying the latest version).
