freezing in paperspace

What is the command for freezing a layer only for the current viewport in paperspace ?

Comments

  • VPLAYER.

It has to be in Layout:Mspace mode. That is, double clicked inside the PS viewport.

  • I generally use LAYFRZ if I want to choose an entity for the layer selection. Just make sure the setting for viewport is vpfreeze.

  • Double click inside viewport, open layers listing, freeze layer in 'current' column (second icon column from right - I think)

  •  My "current" column is missing.  I've double and triple checked that I am indeed in the viewport.  Ideas?
  • You have  to scroll the layer window in the drawing explorer far to the right, after the "material" column (in v11)
or before the "material" column (in v12) (nice fix!)
but open the layer window only when you are in a viewport to set frozen layers for it.

'vplayer" can be called in Layout:Pspace mode.
You can freeze or thaw layers in multiple viewports (if the layer they're on is unfrozen and unlocked) by choosing them at the prompt.
Wildcards can be used for layernames. A very useful  command.

  •  Aaahhh, thank you.  It was hiding, clearly.
