Changing block properties

I have a block that uses attributes and being referenced (used) multiple times. It so happen that I'm displeased with its color and would like to change it. How does one do so (so it would take affect on all the blocks in the design)?

the word on the shtreets is that AutoCAD uses attredef, but mine brics is unfamiliar with the command.
