Paper Space printing
A client sent a drawing with (4) different views in paper space. I thought by clicking in a view it would print only that view - with the view option selected in the print screen but that's not working. How do I print just the view that's selected? Know this a "rookie" question but I don't work in Pspace much and the help section isn't "helping". Thanks for any comments.
This is for version 9 if that helps.

By "(4) different views in paper space" do you mean 4 saved views? That's what the View option in the print dialog means. The pull-down list next to the View option lets you choose a saved view or the current view.
Or do you mean 4 viewports in a certain layout tab? If so, you'd have to zoom to the viewport you want to print and then select View and Current View.

It's 4 viewports in a tab. Yeah I can zoom in and print from that view but I can do that in Mspace. I just thought that you could click on a view to make it active and when hitting print it would just print that view nothing else. Got the idea from a Acad 2007 book (you can make view active - right click and print active view only) but maybe Brics isn't there yet.

Dear Tim
I think you are mixing up 'Saved Views' and 'Paperspace viewports'.
When printing a drawing one of the Plot Area options is 'View'. I you select this option you can choose between 'Current View' and a list of saved views in the drawing (if any).
Another option for Plot Area is 'Layout', which prints the content of a layout. In a single layout you can have one or more viewports, each showing part of the model space. A layout is printed as a whole = all viewports are printed (if the fit on te selecte paper size).
If you want to print only one viewport in a layout, you need to select the 'Window' option, then click two corners of the viewport you want to print.
