We are thinking of moving over from ACAD to BRICSCAD. One of the major features we are using in Acad is the dbconnect command, whereby we can link i.e. an Access database to text fields in a drawing. This gives us the opportunity of changing for updating tag names and block information from outside the CAD software.

Is there something similar existing in BRICSCAD?

While there isn't a DBConnect command yet, there may be an alternative method on the horizon.

I'm using a Brx routine with an SQLite server to import/export text into fields.

Once fields are supported in Block Attributes, this may be something that will work for you as well.
