Image distortion

Did you use the "_imageattach" command or just cut and paste it in? I have noticed that the former works fine but the latter can distort the image significantly. Also if the former, are you ensuring that the insert scale is the same in all directions? And lastly is there any chance that you are snapping to elements that have different Z values resulting in an image that isn't distorted but just in a different plane to the one you are viewing?

I have been using "Insert Block" as well as cut and paste. The distortion isn't a stretch so much as it is turning smooth curves into angular lines. I have also just disocvered that there is one template I have that will load with the logo displayed correctly, however when I save and re-open the image gets distorted the way I just described. I am at a loss as to what is causing this or what to do about it.

Sorry, I assumed your logo was an image not a DWG. Quickest way to get an answer is to file a support request and attach an example of each in a zip file.

Well, I seem to have had success with putting the logo in as a JPEG using "Insert Raster Image". I have some more testng to do today to make sure it is a stable fix, but it seems positive. Thanks for everyone's input.

Good to hear Eli. Though you will possibly help many others by submitting a support request with the details of your original problem

I submitted a support request at the same time I first posted on the forum...haven't heard anything yet but it has only been a couple of days so I suppose I should be patient. I am still coming across some issues when moving from V9 to V10, I hope it is just a matter of learning the correct way to do things, and not actual flaws in the program...
