I am trying to insert and display a large, 64mg, jpg image.  I get the border and a reference to its location on my drive but no image.  If I open the same drawing in 6.5 intellicad I have the image. What am I doing wrong? I am using ver10.3.16 Pro.

    Hi Vincent,

    Yes, I have noticed this behaviour as well and filed a support request. It appears that the Bricscad image processing engine chokes up a bit while trying to bring in large image files.

    Having said that, however, there is no clear cut correlation between size and 'image insert success'. I have managed to bring in about 6 36MB JPG files and work successfully with them. But, often, a similar attempt on other image files may fail.

    Please fiel a support request and attach the image you are trying to bring is so that Bricsys engineers can look at it and try and find out what could be happening.

    In my opinion, it has often to do with the several slight nuances and differences between the SAME image files formats. For instance, the TIFF image itself has several variants and Bricscad may support some of them but not all.
