script-driven search & replace utility available?
Anyone aware of an existing utility which can look-up search & replace items working from a user-defined csv script file, and be started from a one-click macro button. Sure would be useful but having difficulty finding one.

Thanks Daniel - I thought that was THE fix at first, & will be great for expanding my in-the-field abbreviations into proper text labels ....But SPELL isn't checking attributed text nested within blocks the way FIND does unfortunately.

From the better late than never department... I wrote a commercial tool for this for AutoCAD - https://www.CADreplace.com - ping me if you want me to hurry up and port it to BricsCAD. It currently uses CSV files for the search / replace list, it will also use Excel in the near future.

Book here: www.trybooking.com/YIUAI saw you demonstrate CADreplace at our BricsCAD Roadshow earlier this year. A very powerful application, lots of potential.
