Is there any way to do a faster print preview?

I have noticed that in the plot dialog box, generating the preview image takes a lot of time.

In AutoCAD 2002 (not sure about later versions) there is an option to see just the boundaries of the plot image and the paper borders rather than the whole thing.  This is much faster when all you need to confirm is if the scale is right (which is all that I usually need).

Is there a feature like this in Bricscad, and if not, could it be added?

    The boundaries of the plotted area and the paper borders are displayed in the thumbnail preview, shown in the Print settings and Page setup dialogs. Would that be of any help to you?
