Blocks with constant attributes

Why can't I specify a block with a constant hidden attribute. Whenever an attributein an inserted block is defined as constant it is displayed irrespective of the hidden attribute setting? I have "ATTDISP" set to normal.

    Hello, Had the same problem a while ago...fixed it by reopening my blocks and setting the attributes to hidden there then resaving it. Somehow I had to redo this operation with the last two versions. You might try opening the Icad.dwg and change the default attribute settings to hidden then resave. Good luck!
