Any UK Bricscad Developers out there?

I am considering changing CAD suppliers and was wondering how many developers there are in the UK for Bricscad.

I presently use another 2D CAD system with added functions that I cannot be without and would need some routines written into Bricscad if I am to change.

If there is anybody out there that may be able to point me in the right direction I would be most grateful.

Many Thanks

  • Hi David,

What reason is for location in UK? Are your routines requires specific knowledge about requirements in UK?

If not, you can contact everybody. For example, I have customization projects in different countries and we keep in contact by email.

    Regards, Vaidas

  • Vaidas,

    Thanks for the reply,

There are no UK specific requirements, I suppose I am used to dealing face to face rather than via email.

So on reflection I probably could deal with somebody abroad if I was able to explain my requirements accurately.

I would still like to know if there are any UK developers out there though.

    Many Thanks

    David

  • You can also try www.TheSwamp.Org  I think we have a few participants from the UK. Else, I do C++/BRX programming,  I live in Shanghai, my accent is Yankee : )

    David,

I know Andrew Truckle (ajtruckle@yahoo.co.uk) who lives in London and does AutoCAD / Bricsacad programming. You may contact him and find out if he can help you. If it does not work out with him, you might as well contact anyone else (including me) who do AutoCAD / Bricscad programming for a living. I often work with developers in my own city and have never seen them. So, it really does not matter which part of the globe he or she is in.

  • David,

I agree with Rakesh, there are no problems for global cooperation for now.

    @Rakesh & @Daniel,

But please agree with me, after meeting face to face global distances stands to be additionally shorter, even for different time-zones :)

  • Vaidas,

I agree with you. A face-to-face meet takes the relationship one more step forward and helps understand each other's way of working better in such a way that future remote correspondence and interaction are better handled.
