XREF vanishes after save

why should xref be gone after I hit save ? and after I call him again he will not appear, only appears after I close the project and reopen it !?

    This was fixed in v10.4.11 for me, are you running a current version? I believe it was related to saving the drawing as an older release...

    Ok, here is the bit from the v10.4.11 release notes: XREF: status was changed to Unresolved after the drawing was saved as R18, R15 or R14.

    We have problem with opening old and new files with xref generally. In older version Bricscad isn't problem.

    We return to version 10.3.14CZ. Some files we must opening per version 9.XX.XX.

    We work in format 2007.

    I often have inverse problem: some DWGs with XREFs open/display correctly only in V.10.

    In V.9 the screen is white, and the UCS cross logo is oblique.

    ? Problem of DWG forat reading; ? Problem of UCS with XREFs?

    perhaps it is a problem of compatibility, when file is originaly in a certain format its hard to migrate or even load in another format

    suprisingly, it turns out that  version 10.4.18 fixed this problem aswell.

    but if we're on the subject of requesting, a few versions back, while on "print preview", one could determine the zoom level percentage using a pull-down menu.  on the newer versions this option faded, perhaps it can be brought back to life ?
