Centos 5.5

I have used Bricscad 6 on a Centos machine for some years now and ensure that the wine version is not upgraded.

I am interested in upgrading to the latest  version 10 but the rpm fails with unable to find

libexpat.so.1.   There is a libexpat.so.0.5.0 on the system but there is no expat rpm available for libexpat.so.1.

Any possibility of building against the earlier library?

For your information the package runs OK on Fedora 13 64 bit with  the relevant 32 bit libraries loaded.

Thanks

  • Michael,

Sorry the CentOS 5.5 is a little bit too old for BricsCAD4Linux.

I have also tried to install BricsCAD4Linux on a CentOS 5.5 system.

Once I have solved the libexpat.so.1, rebuilding a Fedora/RHEL SRPM.

Then the big error. The glibc version and compiled too low.
