Add on won't unload?

I'm new at loading/unloading applications (add-ons?) in CAD in general, so forgive me if my question is ignorant... Using the DocTabs add-on is my very first try.  I downloaded DocTabs, ran the executable, found the Tools/Load Application dialog, clicked 'Add', browsed to the .drx file and selected it, then clicked the 'Load' button ...voila!  DocTabs!  Then I thought, "Hmmm... my monitor's not that big.  I wonder how easy it is to remove DocTabs for a little more screen realestate?"

I've run Tools/Load Application, selected the DocTabs entry, clicked 'Unload', then 'OK' ...and DocTabs is still there.  Tried closing and restarting BricsCad ...hmmm, DocTabs still there.  Tried various scenarious with removing it from the list in Tools/Load Application, checking/unchecking the 'Save' checkbox, restarting BricsCad each time ...and man oh, man, is that DocTabs sticky!  No matter what I do, it is always there...

So ...what am I doing wrong?  I would like to know how to do the following things:

1. Load an add-on so it always runs when BricsCad runs

2. UNload an add-on whenever I need to, e.g. the screen realestate issue above

3. Unload an add-on so that it NO LONGER loads when BricsCad runs, e.g. when I think I don't need the add-on anymore

 

Anyone?  Am I seeing a bug or have I exposed my total ignorance?  :)

    If you no longer wish to use doctabs,  Close Bricscad and uninstall it from the control panel
