Fields and attributes?

Hi,

I do not know much about fields. I use blocks with attributes a lot. Is it possible to use a field as an attribute value or will I need to recreate the blocks with MTEXT entities containing the fields?

    Hi Greg, 

     Fields inside of attributes are not implemented yet. I've been working on a field manager (you may have seen it) in anticipation of this. Anyway once the're done, you'll be hooked : )

    Yes, indeed, your block/field manager is really what piqued my interest in fields. I have not put much effort into coming to grips with the advantages/disadvantages yet but there seems to be a lot of potential to gain benefits by using fields together with some type of a manager and yours look very useful! I need to find some more free time to play around with it. We just added a dog to the family so the free time went from little to none!

    While I am thinking of it... Can a single field be split over two lines? i.e.: have a \\P embedded
