Drawing non masonry entities?
Hi guys,
I am a contract draftsman and use Bricscad for my work of drawing masonry structures. I am very happy with the drafting package, except for when I am working on a composite structure, such as a brick veneer home, I have to export the masonry shell to AutoCAD to draw in the timber elements. Is there some add on package for to solve this?
The thought occurred the other day that maybe I after drawing the individual bricks in Bricscad, I could start drawing the timber and steel elements anyway, and just pretend that they were masony entities. Would this work?

Clayton, I am not a structural draftsman by any means so maybe someone in the field will interpret your question differently. Having said that, I think you need to provide some more information. Is it Bricscad you are having problems with or is it an addon that isn't doing what you require?
