There is a posting on the Carlson user forums asking users to express their interest in Carlson running on Bricscad. If you are a Carlson user, now is the time to let them know...

    We would be more than happy to welcome Carlson software as an application developer partner on our Bricscad platform. 

     

    It is not that Bricsys didn't do any effort. In September 2008 we visited Carlson at their HQ and explained them that there will be nearly no development effort on their side when porting their applications to Bricscad, because if we would miss a BRX function or a function in any other of our API's - we were prepared to give it priority and develop it for Carlson. The only thing Carlson had to do is recompile their ARX code for BRX and send us the automatically generated report. That tells us what has to be done on our side and develop it. 

     

    Carlson has then followed such procedure and we have started the development for them. I have checked today with our development team: On December 16, 2008 all functions were there for Carlson to offer their software on the Bricscad platform. Since then we have tried to get in contact and set up a dialog about possible issues other than technical. In vain so far. 

    I'm sure that Carlson will have way less maintenance cost on their software running on Bricscad compared to make a version running on IntelliCAD.

    But we are still available for any good suggestion to make this happen.

    Could you please give a reply in some of messages posted in Architecturals forum concerning the future

    of Architecturals ?

    As Jos said, It is a question of politeness to us, Architecturals users that gave money to Bricssys for the Architecturals program, Struturals, etc...

    Good news or bad news but news, It is what we want
